Welcoming New Businesses and Celebrating Long-Standing Ones

You’ve probably heard the exciting news that M&S is set to open its largest standalone food store to date right here in Godalming – a real boost for the town that we hope will ripple out to support footfall and trade throughout the town centre. Timings are still to be confirmed.

In the meantime, we’re looking forward to the arrival of a new addition to the High Street: Wayfarer’s Rest, a board game café and shop, which is due to open in June at 46 High Street.

And while we welcome new faces, we’re also celebrating the milestones of familiar favourites. A big congratulations to Beauty Secrets, marking an impressive 40 years is business this month, 30 of those in Godalming! In today’s challenging retail climate, that’s no small feat – and they’re not alone. Godalming is fortunate to have many long-standing businesses that continue to serve the community with dedication, quality service, and the support of loyal customers.
